Drilling in ANWR is Stupid

Why drill in ANWR when it represents only 1% of the world's oil supply? It's not a good trade at all. It's US property the only people benefitting from exploiting it are the oil producers.

Far better to use up the world's oil, and hold the oil in ANWR for when oil is waning and the reserves there represent 10% or more of the world's supply. Then it will bring 10 times the price and not drilling there will be difficult to justify.

Meanwhile, if we had an intelligent leader in the Whitehouse, we could be launching an effort to move us away from oil altogether. That's the only way we'll ever gain independence from foreign oil.

It's clear that the people running the country don't care about the future at all, they only care about lining their pockets now, to keep themselves wealthy during their lifetimes. And they have invented the perfect scam in demonizing liberals. Using this technique, they have gotten the multitudes to back their every schemes, even though not a one of the individuals making up the multitudes will ever benefit from them.

Why should a laborer in Oklahoma getting by on $35,000 a year care to allow drilling in ANWR? There's nothing, nothing in it for him, but he's all for it mainly because the "demon liberals" are against it. And so a few people will become multimillionaires because they know how to manipulate the minds of these kinds of people, and thus the votes in Congress.

I wish I knew how to hustle like that.

RealPlayer == RealVirus

RealPlayer sucks.

I hate RealPlayer and I wish people would stop producing RealPlayer content. Every so often I download the RealPlayer installer to look at some content that someone has foolishly published in Real format. I've done this several times in the past, and always ended up immediately removing it before even get a chance to look at the content.

It's because RealPlayer is more like a virus than real software, and has been since about the second year of its existence. Or possibly the third year, who remembers?

The problem is, you install it and it's like some kind of software spider insinuating itself into your machine to take it over for Zeus only knows what ends. It's a thoroughly despicable piece of work.

Yeah, so this is not the most informative or articulate RealPlayer complaint, but I really don't have time to do much more than just whine about it.
